At Bird Software I build contract software for businesses across Canada and the U.S. A large part of the work is internal, backend heavy platforms: inventory management, employee management, and other operational systems that clients run their day to day businesses on, alongside consumer facing products built from scratch. I've also done a good amount of frontend development, building marketing sites for local businesses.

Project 1
Social Planning Platform
A social discovery app for Toronto, built around an interactive 3D city map.
Built a social planning platform for finding events, hangouts, and people to meet in Toronto. Instead of a scrollable feed, events live directly on an interactive 3D map of the city (parties, dinners, sports meetups, pottery nights, hikes), each pinned to its real location with a category emoji and a live attendee count.
What I Built
Built the interactive 3D map view, with pins grouped by category (food, drinks, music, sports, outdoors, and more) clustered and rendered across the city so users can explore what's happening near them geographically.
Built the event discovery flow for browsing and joining hangouts, including attendee avatars, live headcounts, and location and category filtering.
Built the onboarding and account flow for new users signing up to browse events and meet people in their city.
Worked on the backend services powering event data, search, and geolocation behind the map.
Project 2
Toronto Talks
Small group video matching to meet new people, built around a recurring weekly call.
Built a conversation matching platform for meeting new people: users fill out a short profile, get matched into a small group, and join a scheduled video call every Wednesday at 7pm with people who share similar interests.
What I Built
Built the matching and scheduling system that groups users who sign up into small video call cohorts on a recurring weekly cadence.
Built the profile and onboarding flow used to collect the info matching runs on.
Built the live waiting room state showing a real time count of people currently looking to connect.
Integrated video calling for the group sessions.
Project 3
Alora Weddings
End to end wedding planning software connecting couples with venues and vendors.
Built wedding planning software that lets couples build their entire wedding in one place: searching and comparing venues, then browsing the vendors around them, from florists to photographers, instead of juggling it all across separate sites and spreadsheets.
What I Built
Built venue listing pages, including photo galleries, capacity, setting, pricing, and minimum stay details, plus browse and search across venues, professionals, and inspiration content.
Built the inquiry and messaging flow connecting couples directly to venue managers and vendors.
Built vendor facing tools for venue managers to manage their listings and respond to inquiries.
Worked on account and save/favorites functionality for couples planning their wedding.

Aboutly
Video introduction embeds that help sales teams build trust with website visitors.
Built a video embed platform for sales teams, such as dealerships and similar businesses, where a salesperson's video introduction gets converted into a plugin embed for the company website, so visitors can connect with a real person before ever reaching out.
What I Built
Built the video upload pipeline that converts an uploaded video into an embeddable widget for a client's website.
Built account and team management for sales organizations onboarding their sales staff.
Built the pricing and plans pages.
Worked on the embed and plugin generation used to drop the widget into a client's existing site.
Project 5
Ferried Transport
Documentation software for traveling with a domesticated animal.
Worked on the initial build for Ferried Transport, a documentation platform aimed at simplifying the paperwork involved in traveling with a domesticated animal, pulling together the permits and records pet owners and transport businesses need into one place.

Project 1
Atlas Massage Therapy
Marketing and booking site for a mobile massage therapy business.
Built the marketing site for Atlas Massage, a mobile Registered Massage Therapy service that comes to a client's home or office instead of the other way around, serving London, ON (with support for additional service cities).
What I Built
Built the marketing site, including the booking call to action and appointment phone and contact details.
Built the location switcher in the header for clients serving more than one city.
